Baked Strawberry Tart !

Baked strawberries???? F4A likes to 'think out of the box' and we can assure you that you're going to love it ! It's an easy and original recipe, perfect for saving your damaged strawberries. Recycle your ugly strawberries and make a delicious tart ! Mmmmhh !

Preparation time : 30 min

Cooking time : 20 / 30 min

Serves : 4 to 8 (depends on your level of greediness)

Ingredients :

Homemade shortbread pastry

200g of flour

150g of butter

50g of unrefined brown sugar

50g icing sugar

1 egg

For the trim :

300 to 500g of strawberries

2tablespoons of unrefined brown sugar

Preparation :

  • Mix the flour with the different types of sugar with the softened and diced butter.

  • Sand the dough with your fingers: Take a handful of the dough and slide your fingers against each other. Repeat until you get a sandy pastry.

  • Add the eff and form a smooth ball.

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and cut the strawberries in half lengthwise.

  • Bake the dough in the oven for 10 minutes (a bit longer if you like it crispy).

  • Once pre-baked, take the dough out of the oven and place your strawberries on top.

  • Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons and bake again for 15 to 30 minutes (it depends on the texture/state of your strawberries).
